Nominate Your Chapter or Division for the 2008 Avery Great Results Chapter and Division Achievement Awards Program

Do you belong to an IAAP chapter or division that strives to achieve and maintain excellence?

If so, then Avery Dennison wants your chapter or division to apply for the 2008 Avery Great Results Chapter and Division Achievement Awards Program. Five chapters and one division have the chance to win cash prizes to help fund future educational programs.


The five chapter award prizes and one division award prize offered are as follows:

  • One Division will receive the Division Prestige Award of $1,000.

  • One Chapter will receive the Chapter Prestige Award of $3,000.

  • Two Chapters (one with less than 40 members and the other with 40 or more members) will receive the Chapter Distinction Award, $1,500 each.

  • Two Chapters (one with less than 40 members and the other with 40 or more members) will receive Chapter Honorable Mention Awards, $500 each.

Each chapter submitting a nomination application will receive its choice of a consolation prize of one of the following prizes offered by Avery Dennison:

  • Make a donation on behalf of the chapter to the IAAP Research and Education Foundation to assist in the continued development of the IAAP Learning Network and other educational programs; or

  • Make a donation on behalf of the chapter to the Retirement Trust Foundation to assist in continuing its support of the Vista Grande Retirement Center, RTF ReVisions publication, and the Financial Assistance Program.


Deadline submission for the applications is February 1, 2008. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges and forwarded on representatives of Avery Dennison for the final selection and announcement on Administrative Professionals Day, April 23, 2008.
