What's The Right Equipment For The Mobile Workforce?
In case you hadn't noticed, mobile technology is in the office and it's here to stay. About 60 percent of the world's office professionals say they don't need to be in the office to be productive, according to a survey by social contact manager Gist. A third of all office professionals use more than one mobile device to do their jobs, and about the same portion say they're at their most productive when they're using mobile tools to work from home. The Gist study is nearly two years old, which means the current figures are probably even higher. This isn't really news, though. Nobody questions whether to use mobile tools for work these days. The question now is: what tools are best and how do we use them?
