Business Management Daily Names IAAP A Top Resource For Administrative Professionals
Positive feedback is fairly rare in our professional lives. That's why a recent survey from Business Management Daily is so gratifying. The International Association of Administrative Professionals was named one of the top resources for administrative professionals by the prominent industry news and information website.
Administrative professionals listed IAAP among their favorite go-to websites, according to a survey by Business Management Daily. This is particularly noteworthy since LinkedIn is widely regarded as the most important social media website for professionals. IAAP's LinkedIn group has significantly more members than any of the association's other social media channels.
Business Management Daily is an important news and information source in its own right for administrative professionals. Among other topics, it regularly produces content related to productivity skills, professional development, networking, project management, team coordination and office technology.
The site created this top 10 list after asking administrative professionals in several LinkedIn discussions to name the groups they most commonly turn to for professional advice. IAAP received some excellent reviews:
“Wonderful resources and ideas! Ladies thank you for sharing,” says R.D. Bertsch, department assistant at Farmers Insurance AgencyPoint and member of the International Association of Administrative Professionals LinkedIn group. “… I look forward to your entire list. One can never have enough resources.”
“I love … IAAP chapter information and some recorded webinars,” explains Veronica Cross, clerk II at Shelton State Community College and member of the Personal Assistant and Office Manager LinkedIn group. “Also IAAP website, All Things Admin and of course Joan Burge’s Office Dynamics website. Before I found these websites I was embarrassed of my job, but because of websites and blogs I see the importance of my job.”
IAAP is in some outstanding company on this list, including All Things Admin and Executive Secretary Magazine. Association staff and leaders strive every day to make IAAP the most relevant, cutting-edge organization for administrative professionals. Administrative professionals are incredibly important and they deserve an association that helps them succeed. This survey from Business Management Daily suggests we're getting the job done.
