The 2009 Spring Professional Education Conference will be held March 9-11 in Nashville, Tenn. at the Gaylord Opryland Resort. Work with executive coaches to develop and establish a distinct professional presence.

          Experts at the conference will:

  • talk to anybody about anything with confidence, savvy, and conversational clout

  • effectively network and interrelate up, down, and sideways

  • size up every situation and determine a plan of engagement

  • pick up on subtle and not-so-subtle verbal, nonverbal, and environmental cues

  • leverage ideas so they get accepted and supported; how to defend them if they aren’t

  • appropriately conduct business over a meal function with poise and proper protocol

  • achieve congruency in your appearance, words, and behavior

  • find comrades, mentors, and role models to champion your career

  • become a star in every role you are asked to play – from break room to board room

For the first time ever, attendees will:

  • be able to provide input to the presenters through a pre-event survey so that sessions can be geared to the needs and experience levels of the attendees

  • have access to a special password-protected online community open only to registrants - for networking and communicating before and after the conference

  • receive an article each month written by one of the presenters to extend the learning beyond the classroom

  • take home a complimentary Achievement Journal to identify and document personal goals and accomplishments throughout 2009

Detailed information on the program and registration will be posted on the IAAP web site the end of October and included with the next issue of OfficePro magazine. Enroll early. Attendance is limited to 300.
