Article/News Submission Guidelines

News items and article submissions are welcome. Send submissions to IAAP Connections editor Emily Hoffman at ehoffman@iaap-hq.org. Please put IAAP Connections Submission in the subject line.

Submissions are limited to 150 words. We will publish up to five submissions a month. We reserve the right to accept or reject any submission. 

Topic Guidelines

Examples of news items:

Exceptional chapter educational or networking programs.

Stories on how chapters have been successful in gaining and/or retaining members. 

Examples of successful local publicity/public relations campaigns; local chapter media coverage.

Examples of chapters that have built good relationships with local educational institutions -- successful "win/win" partnerships with student chapters, teachers, and students. 

Partnership success stories with local business, government agencies, community groups.

Photos of unique chapter group activities or other photos of interest. Send photos via e-mail as file attachments in high resolution. Include detailed caption information. One photo per submission, please. 

We do not want chapter charters, as we already print these directly from Headquarters or chapter anniversary photos.
