IAAP Event Policy

Corporate Discounts and Conference Cancellation Policy 

IAAP offers a corporate discount when several attendees from the same company register together. Details for each conference may be found on the Event Corporate Discount Form.

Cancellations and refund requests for IAAP CAPstone and IAAP Summit must be received in writing 45 days prior to the start of the conference, minus a $100 administrative fee.

Cancellations and refund requests for IAAP EA Symposium must be received in writing 45 days prior to the start of the conference, minus a $250 administrative fee.

Refunds are not available for registrants who received a corporate discount.


Emergency Cancellations
If a registrant has a death in their immediate family a refund less a $100 fee may be requested before the start of the event.  IAAP reserves the right to request documentation.

How to Cancel
To cancel your registration email: events@iaap-hq.org, with “Event Cancellation” in the subject line, or mail notification to: IAAP, 10502 N Ambassador Drive, Suite 100, Kansas City, MO 64153. Include your full name, member number (if an IAAP member), event title, and city of residence.  All cancellations must be made in writing; no requests will be accepted over the phone.

Cancellation Notes
IAAP reserves the right to process refunds after the conference concludes.

Registrants who fail to cancel and do not attend are responsible for the full registration fee.

Transfer Policy

Event attendees may transfer the registration fee to another IAAP HQ conference within 12 months of the original event, minus a $100 transfer fee. This transfer fee is due at the time of transfer; if the conference registration fee of the new conference is less than the original conference, attendees may use the additional toward the transfer fee. Refunds are not available for transfers.

 

Event attendees who originally received the corporate discount will pay the $100 transfer fee in addition to the balance for attending separately.

Event Payment

IAAP accepts check, money order or credit card payment (Visa, Master Card, American Express or Discover) in US Dollars.  Headquarters cannot process event registration without full payment and complete registration form. Form of payment cannot be changed once submitted to IAAP.

ADA

IAAP complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act.  If special arrangements are necessary for an individual with a disability to attend this program, contact events@iaap-hq.org.  Notice of special needs must be received one month prior to event start date.

Scent-Free Environment

To ensure the comfort of everyone attending the meeting, please do not wear scented products.

Dietary Restrictions

Attendees have the option to receive a gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan option when registering for any IAAP conference at which meals are served. Attendees may also note any medically necessary dietary restrictions on the registration form. Any restrictions not communicated to IAAP within 14 business days of the start of the event will be accommodated to the best of our ability but cannot be guaranteed.
