Anyone here planning to sit for the September exams (either CAP or OM)?

I thought I might start doing a weekly thread for those that are preparing for the exams where we focus on a different domain or performance objective each week.

What kinds of things would you find helpful with this? As most of you know, I run full fledged study groups, but I would also like to support those that are going the self study route.

Hopefully other study group leaders will also feel free to jump in the discussions.

I'll begin the posts next week.

September CAP-OM Exam

Hi, Marie:

Yes, I'm planning on taking the CAP-OM exam in September. Interestingly enough, I am also charged with developing an online CAP-OM course to be taught this summer at the university where I work. Essentially, I will be learning by teaching. :-)

I've been looking for a study group that doesn't cost anything. This is a very expensive exam when you count the study materials, study groups, the cost of the exam, etc. I'm in the process of getting an MOS 2013 Master certification and it didn't cost me as much as the CAP-OM certification will. Paying for a study group is just not in my budget.

I hope others will chime in. Have a great day!

Hello Dawn,

I would love to talk with you about the online course you are developing for Delaware State University. IAAP now lists college CAP prep programs. Also since the exam has changed recently, I would like to talk about content and study resources.

Please email me directly at barbara.weathers@iaap-hq.org

Thank you,
Barbara

Dawn, well naturally I feel my study groups are worth paying for. ;) But I do understand financial limitations.

Donna Rankin offers a free group.

Marie
