Recertification - CRISP 50-Minute Books

I have been using the Crisp books for recertification points, and when finished with the book, I copy any pertinent pages and complete the form to send in to IAAP for my certificate.

I just ordered new books, and it seems this is no longer the process. Now I have to go out and buy the assessments that go with the books? So I buy the books, and now buy the forms to get my recert points? This is becoming mind boggling.

I think I'll be asking for a full refund if this is the case.

Hi, Lois,

I will reply to your email with more detail to your situation, but we do currently have the assessment sold separately for those who are interested in sharing the 50-Minute books with fellow CAP holders so each person may receive the points.

We are moving the books to our new learn@IAAP and will offer them for sale in a bundle with the assessments; that option will be available later this month.

Does this mean we can buy the used Crisp books from other members? If so, is there a specific forum for this?

Am I understanding this correct, I have bought the books, now I have to buy the assessment??? Where/What is the link to take the assessments (I can't find them anywhere on the IAAP website)? I think this might be my last purchase if I have to make an additional purchase in order to acquire these points.

I just submitted a couple of the 50 Minute Crisp books that I had with the recertification paperwork but it was returned for insufficient address. These are left from the books that I purchased several years ago with the recertification sheets included. Have you changed the address where these are sent to? If so, can you supply so I can get recertification points for these? If something has changed with the former process and I can no longer get credit for these, please advise. Thank you.

You can still get points for the previous Crisp Assessments. The easiest way is to scan and email the assessments to education@iaap-hq.org
