Looking forward to the Futures Conference! I have a question that those attending TEC probably also would want answered.

Do we have any transport service set up to get from the airport to Loews? I just looked it up on Google Maps and saw it's a 35-40 minute drive. Sure would like to avoid a $60 cab ride, especially considering how much it is going to cost to eat over the weekend. (Looked at the dining options at the hotel. $13.00 for pancakes and $4.00 for a soft drink. YIKES!)

This will be my first trip to Arizona and I'm looking forward to it - along with doing some great work to move our association forward!

Unfortunately, the hotel does not have shuttle service to/from the airport. I understand that it would be best to either take Uber (one-way trips ranging from $26-$35) or Go Airport Shuttle service (roundtrip fare approximately $50). Hope this helps. Perhaps others who live in Tucson can share more/better options.
Safe travels and looking forward to seeing you in Tucson!

TaxiFareFinder estimates $62.09 (including an 8 dollar tip) which wouldn't be bad for 2 or 3 people to split. Is anyone else out there arriving at Tucson Int'l at or around 10:05pm on March 2nd?? Would love company for whatever method we choose!

My plane lands in Tucson on 3/2 at 1:45 PM (allegedly). I looked at GO Airport Shuttle, but the only options they had were limo and private sedans, starting at $80 each way. Ugh!

After an online search, I came across shuttlewizard.com. They had a shared van ride for about $56 each way. There was a pay with PayPal option there, so I took it.

So the plane, shuttle and conference are all paid for, and the credit card is cleared for the hotel room. All I need to do now is pack. 15 days and counting!

I am flying into Tucson on Saturday afternoon and back out on Wednesday afternoon. I went directly to the Tucson Airport webpage and looked for shuttle information. They have a shared ride shuttle with AZ Stagecoach. I just booked my round trip and total was $92 ($46 each way - that is with a $4.00 discount for booking round trip). I have always taken the super shuttles for these trips and they are usually pretty good so I am hoping this one will be also.

Here is the link to the airport transportation page if you are interested. https://www.flytucson.com/transportation/shuttles-limos/

Thank you James and Mary Jo!
I'll be exploring those suggestions, for sure!

PS: James, there's a Basha's supermarket less than 2 miles away. I always find the nearest place to get a few staples like instant oatmeal, bread, cheese, water & soda...

I've been using car services for meetings for the past few years and the went through the hotel to book the one I have for the Futures Conference. I sent an e-mail to the Concierge via the hotel website and she took care of everything else. The cost is $55 each way for two people. That does not include gratuity.
