I joined IAAP this last year and this spring I plan to take the CAP Exam. I've just joined a study group and am excited to get started on this new adventure. Pursuing this certification, on a personal level, really aligns with my vision for 2018- invest in myself, live intentionally and pursue goals that bring me joy and challenge me to be better in every area of my life.
Professionally, pursuing operational excellence and strengthening global performance are two of the key initiatives in my company's vision for 2018 that have resonated with me. I feel inspired by this vision to be excellent in my role and I know that the CAP certification will help me be the best team member I can be. In my immediate team we chose a 2018 theme which is, "Keep Climbing." - that just motivates me to grow more in 2018 and really focus on this opportunity I have to be an asset to my team. I really love what I do and I'm excited about learning more about this profession and am thankful that I can do this with the support of the IAAP community.
