<description><![CDATA[Because I want to be the best at what I do.  Because I want to be recognized as being above average.  Because my employer will give me a raise if I pass.  Because it will make me look more employable if I decide to change jobs.

I recently looked at the Great Courses: Outsmart Yourself.  It gives tips on how to get the most out of life.  That includes how to avoid procrastination and how to make myself buckle down and keep my nose to the grindstone!

To avoid procrastination:  1) do the worst thing first; 2) don't distract myself with any trivial activities; 3) think about or stare at money!  So I keep a dollar bill in my desk drawer, and I open the drawer and stare at it until I'm ready to buckle down.]]></description>
