Hello Everyone. =)
I am scheduled to sit October 5th. Im very nervous. Does anyone have input on how the practice exams compare to the actual exam? I took one the day I registered for the exam and failed. I have been studying for about 3 weeks and passed a practice exam today. I recognized at least 20% of the questions were on the first practice. I wonder if these exact questions may show up again?? If so, I think it would be smart to study the practice exams almost exclusively at this point. Any suggestions?

Hi, the practice exam are retired questions. Do not memorize those ques for the 2018 Fall CAP exam. Your passing is a great indicator that you are tracking your time effectively. Best of luck and rock CAP!

The practice exams are great and very helpful, however I'd say to just know your subject matter. When I sat, I practiced with my husband explaining everything I knew and let him as me questions as a lay person. I know it's hard, but don't focus on the fact you're nervous. Go in there knowing that you're intelligent and well prepared to conquer anything and everything!!
You can and will conquer this!!

As others have said, don't memorize or focus on specific questions, as the practice tests are retired. What I did, was take the practice test and mark down the domain and objective numbers of the questions I got wrong. At the end I determined which domains needed the most work. I focused mainly on those domains in the weeks leading up to the test. Best of luck to you.

Good luck on taking the CAP. I agree with Brandy determine the domains where you need most help and focus on those areas. The areas you know should be a breeze. Just keep practicing, reading and studying the areas you need more help in.
