Good morning! I was wondering if anyone could give me any guidance on recertification points. I am going to sign up for an online course for Microsoft Publisher through Ed2go. It is 24 course hours. So, according to the IAAP Certification Handbook I should receive 24 recertification points, correct? Is there something special I need to do to have this course credit approved through the IAAP before I start the course? The link to the course is below:

https://www.ed2go.com/courses/computer-applications/microsoft/ilc/introduction-to-microsoft-publisher-2013

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!

Hi, Kristin. Any education that aligns with the Body of Knowledge can count for recertification points. You do need to have supporting documentation to prove you attended the course and how many hours it was. Recertification points are awarded by time: 1 hour of education equals 1 recertification point.

Let us know if you have any further questions.

Thanks!
