Hello and Happy New Year!

As I meditated on what 2021 would/could offer my professional development, earning the CAP accreditation felt appropriate and perfectly timed. I find myself on a career path that inspires me to leverage my business acumen and instincts. However, I have found communicating and motivating buy-in amongst executives and leaders requires me to further develop my vocabulary, in conjunction with my accumulated experience. I uphold the opinion that the CAP curriculum and examination will connect the proverbial dots between my skills and knowledge base to effectively communicate and support a business's administrative infrastructure.

I feel so many things in regards to the exam! I am nervous, anxious, and a bit overwhelmed; though, joining a study group has given me the confidence that I am not alone! Overall, I am proud of myself for taking the plunge and pushing myself out of my comfort zone. Note taking forces my brain to dive into curriculum so I have found the combination of listening to the ereader study guide and following along with explicit notes works great. As far as the exam...following, what I seek to be a bootcamp of studying, deep breaths and positive affirmations will be my exam day prep!

I look forward to this journey and can't wait to see what the future holds!

LOL I think your vocabulary appears to be quite extensive. That shouldn't be an issue. :)

It can be challenging to communicate with management but hopefully some insight will be available to you in the reading you will be doing to prepare for this exam.

Let's go get you certified! :)
