Hello, all!

I'm Krystin Currier from Birmingham, AL, and I'm going to be sitting for the CAP exam in spring 2022. I've worked as an administrative professional for over 10 years now, and during this time I've found a niche in problem solving and process improvement. Through the certification process, I hope to hone my administrative skills in order to better support my CEO and our team. I'm also hoping to gain confidence in my abilities as I transition from Senior Administrative Assistant to Executive Assistant in the first half of this year. At the moment, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed in the process, as last week I was on a business trip and then developed the flu the day after we returned. I'm hoping to use the relative quiet of the next couple of weeks to catch up and get ahead. I enjoy the subject matter and studying, but I do often struggle with forcing myself to take the time for professional development. I look forward to learning as much as I can through the certification process - both about administration and myself. Good luck to all of you!

Kindest Regards,
Krystin
