Hi everyone! I have decided to embark on the certification journey to improve my "official" credentials. Plus, I want those initials after my name! I have a Bachelors in Business Administration and 25+ years of experience, but each time I changed companies, I felt like I had to start at the bottom and work my way up all over again. I am doing so now at a new company where I started working 1 year ago as an "Administrative Associate". I hope to earn a monetary raise and career ladder promotion (to "Administrative Specialist") along with my certification by the end of the year! Next up - Administrative Lead!

I am a bit nervous about the exam as I haven't been in school or taken a test in a very long time. I'm excited for Marie Herman's study group so I can get a jump on preparing for the exam, reviewing the basics and updating my knowledge of new concepts.

That is interesting that you have ended up "stepping back" when you have switched companies. I guess I would wonder how that is happening. But I love that you are going for the CAP and that I get to spend your journey with you!
