Did anyone else put countless hours into studying only to sit down for the test and feel as if all the material you learned just suddenly disappeared from your brain?
I also could not stop overthinking every question. Having been an executive admin for over five years now, I kept swaying between two answers for a lot of the questions. I would feel confident it was one answer but then start thinking of different circumstances and scenarios where another answer would apply. I should probably not have tried to apply answers to my on-the-job experiences and just been more general with it.
Just feeling a bit discouraged. I wanted to be able to feel confident I passed but that is not how I feel at all.

I think we all feel that way to some degree. Don’t be discouraged, feel confident in your decision to sit for the exam and know that you gave it your all. Let’s celebrate the accomplishment of taking the exam itself. The cherry on top will be receiving your results with a well‑earned PASS.

I'm waiting too on the results.

I think most of us felt that way. Exam day nerves, imposter syndrome, questions that felt like there was no context. I studied more for the CAP exam than any in my life. At least that is what it felt like. I was in my 50's when I took it and it had been a very long time since I had sat for any type of exam. I also did not feel confident when I finished. The exam is complete. You've done the hard part. The next few weeks will be long and anxious while you wait on the results to come sometime in May. Celebrate yourself. Do a braindump and then set it aside. While that advise is easier said than done, trust me - it helps. You are the same, capable, confident admin today as you were when you walked into that exam centre. Push the doubt aside and celebrate, celebrate, celebrate.

I agree with all of the above! I walked away from my exam with that exact same feeling and was pleasantly surprised to see just how strongly I had pretty much aced the exam a few weeks later. Chin up, we are our own worst critics and I'm betting you did a lot better than you think!
