Hello everyone,

I’ll be sitting for the CAP exam during the summer/fall testing window and wanted to share why I decided to pursue certification.

The first reason is that earning my CAP was included as a goal in my annual review (I had never heard of it until we moved to TN!), and I see it as a great opportunity to invest in my professional development. I also believe it will strengthen my future career prospects and demonstrate my commitment to the administrative profession.

Beyond that, I really want to prove to myself that I can do this. Preparing for and passing a professional certification is a challenge, and I'm looking forward to pushing myself outside my comfort zone and growing through the process.

I'm excited, a little nervous, and currently working through all the weekly work with Marie's class. I look forward to learning from others in this community and wish everyone else preparing for the exam the best of luck!
