Hi everyone, I would like to attend one of the events but I'm not sure which is more beneficial. I have never attended either. Can someone provide the pros and cons for each? I would LOVE to do both! 

That depends on what you are looking for. I have not yet attended TEC. I have heard wonderful things about it. As administrative professionals, we must stay on the cutting edge of technology training, and that is what is provided at TEC.

I have attended several Summits and found them to be wonderful. The atmosphere, the connections, the networking, the locales, the education, and the fun! It is all worth it. You return from Summit energized and ready to tackle any office obstacles you may face.

I hope you will be able to attend one, or both in 2017.

I also have only attended The Summit - always really enjoyed them (been to 14 so far). Would like to attend TEC but it doesn't fall at a time that is good to be away from the office. Summer is the slower time (I work at a university) so The Summit coordinates better with my schedule.

Thanks! I also work at a college and I will probably be going to Summit for the same reason. I have already asked my boss and he agrees that this is an important opportunity to get rejuvenated with my job.

The first IAAP event I attended was a technology learning event (wasn't called TEC back then, 2006). Summit offers a range of topics along with HQ updates during business meetings. Once I attended Summit, that has been my one event to attend due to the variety. Both events are a great place to update skills.
Suggestion: attend one of each and then make your decision.
