CAP 2018
This year, I am prepping for my CAPM through PMI. But, as a Leadership Academy registrant and IAAP Influencer for 2017-2018, I need to go for CAP. So, I hope to sit for the exam in early 2018. Pray for me!

Congrats, Sonya!  Sounds like you have your plan in place ---that's at least half the battle!  I'm sure you'll do great - I hear fabulous things about Marie's program - I'm sure you'll be ready for the exam!

Hey Sonya,

What book are you using for your CAPM? I Was considering the CAPM but went ahead and did the PMP.

Congrats on going for the PMP....and the great thing about the PMP, NO re-examination! Right now, I am using Rita McCauley's CAPM Exam Prep: Accelerated Learning to Pass PMI's CAPM Exam. I have other study guides and flashcards (on my phone and on card stock)...but she seems to be the favorite.

Rita is the BEST! I used her for the PMP exam, and honestly, if you can pass the tests she provides at 70% or higher, than you shouldn't run into many surprises on the test. Be sure to spend extra time examining  the "why" on the questions you got wrong. To me, getting into the mindset is half the battle. The world as PMI sees it and the work world we actually live in -- differ greatly.

Hi Sonya! Congratulations on your career development plan. It sounds like you will be busy, but well worth the effort.
