IAAP Summit 2017 - Employer Trip Note
Hello, IAAP Members! It's hard to believe Summit was a month ago! I greatly enjoyed New Orleans and the wonderful things I learned, people I met, and po'boys I ate! I can't wait for Austin 2018! My new employer asked me to write a trip note (conference report) to share with our global EA team. Since I'm used to being the only EA in a department, I've never needed to do one before, but I'm certainly glad I did! I sent this to all EAs and their managers within our company (globally), and now have support from our managing partner and a meeting with the head of HR to discuss sending more of our admin team to future events. Given the success of this document, I'd like to share it so that others can replicate for their own use in demonstrating the value of attendance (and membership). Let me know if you have any questions!
