I am taking the CAP Exam because it is the right thing to do as an administrative professional. I have been an administrative professional my entire career. I started in the profession almost 34 years ago. I attended a local technical college and obtained an associates degree in secretarial science and found myself receiving several job offers. My first administrative job was a clerk at a manufacturing company from there I have been very fortunate to move up in the ranks to serve as an executive assistant supporting the President and CEO. Over the years, I have noticed I am the go-to person. While I feel very confident being the go-to person, I feel that I would be totally complete as an administrative professional being a Certified Administrative Professional. By obtaining my CAP Certification, it will be a GREAT big seal of approval for ME and not to mention the fact that having "CAP" behind my name would be so awesome.
