CAP Exam 2019
Ms. Marie gave this homework assignment so here I am. Smile I wish I had some profound reason for taking the exam, but honestly, it was just something that seemed like fun to do, and I might learn something on the way. I feel happy and secure in my position, so I'm not looking to make a move anywhere. There is a gal in our department that has her CAP certification and she spoke highly of it (and the study group) so I figured I would give it a go. My manager is fully supportive in my pursuit to test, which has been nice. I have been in office environments since high school (volunteer in the guidance office) and have always enjoyed it. I love taking care of people and my position allows me to do just that. I've worked for some really dynamic bosses, so I feel like a lot of my growth and learned skills from over the years can be credited to them. Thank you for listening to my story! Valerie

You never know when things will change unexpectedly in your life. You may find that having the CAP will be just the thing to make you stand out. I felt the way you did when I sat for my CAP, but I can honestly say that it has given me back so much more than I ever thought. It also gave me the confidence to take leadership roles I would never have imagined or taken on my own. It takes a lot of work to pass this test. Be proud of those wonderful letters behind your name!
