“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” I am fortunate to be one of those people. I have been an administrative professional since 1988. My supervisor recently asked me what my career goals are. I told her that I am happy where I am and wasn’t looking to promote or transfer into any other position or department. Still wanting to support me in my career growth, she told me about the CAP Exam and if I was interested that I should look into it. But yikes, I haven’t taken a test like this in a really long time. So I signed up for Marie Herman’s study group, purchased the study book, and registered for the Spring 2022 CAP Exam. Oh, such a rush of so many emotions! Excited, nervous, proud. It is really refreshing to have a totally new goal for myself around the profession that I love so dearly. Here we go!
