Certified for Growth
I've spent the greater portion of my working life in the fields of finance and administration, and I'll never forget the first time I saw myself as a professional career woman 10 years ago. What a special moment that was! I had just finished reading a book called "5 Steps to Professional Presence" which was eye-opening for me as a young woman clumsily transitioning from the world of retail sales into the role of a personal banker. The teachings in that book provided me with much needed guidance that helped to build the foundation on which I still stand today. As a believer that personal and professional growth are integral to living your best life, naturally I was ready to sign myself up when I learned about the CAP program. Becoming CAP certified will strengthen my foundation, increase my value as a professional in the workplace, add a beautiful feather to my cap, and validate the continual growth I've felt within myself over the course of the last 10 years. As an added bonus, my employer also offers financial benefits upon successfully passing the exam! Preparing for the exam isn't going to be an easy feat, but I'm up for the challenge! This process is going to be demanding but I think I will find it stimulating, insightful, and gratifying. I am looking forward to embarking on this certification journey and enjoying both the internal and external rewards it will produce!
