I am going to be taking the CAP exam because I work for a really supportive company that encourages my career development and this is something I have wanted for myself. I have been an administrative professional for 10 years and I took the PACE course and exam 2 years ago and passed. I have done research and learned that the CAP test is harder and also more respected so I decided that it was my next goal to also complete and get the CAP certification. I hope that this will help earn me a raise once I pass the exam. I had a baby earlier this year so I anticipate the studying and juggling of home life to be a challenge but I am feeling confident and looking forward to adding this designation to my signature!
