Preparing for CAP Exam Spring 2025
I'm planning to take the CAP Exam in Spring 2025. I hope to become more confident and prepared to take on duties in related areas such as project management. I am nervous, but I have been taking time to study a little bit each day. Even though I have over ten years of experience in the field, I know that I still have SO much to learn. Does anyone have any advice or words of wisdom they can share with those of us who are preparing to take the exam? As a side note, I believe administrative professionals are the ones that keep this world running. They are some of the most loyal, hardworking, and selfless individuals I've ever met. I'm truly honored to be a part of this profession.

Congratulations on making the decision to obtain your CAP, Jenna!  For me personally, I felt like being super familiar with the terminology helped me.  In addition to participating in a study group and my regularly scheduled study time, I also spent about 30 minutes before bed each night going through my flash cards and reviewing the terminology.  I feel like that helped me a lot.  Best of luck, Jenna.  You've got this!

Good luck on getting your certification.  I just received mine.  Study the terms and buy the book. Flash cards are a great tool as well.

Best of luck to you. Way back when I took the exam, flash cards worked well for me.

Good luck on your CAP journey. I agree with the previous posts that flash cards will be incredibly helpful. There is just so much terminology. I am also participating in a study group, and I think having a large support group with which to interact will make the process even easier. Best wishes!
