Spring 2019 CAP Exam
Hello there. I am new to IAAP and plan to take the spring 2019 CAP exam. I came across IAAP early last year and thought it would be a great forum for someone like me, an executive assistant at a law firm, who really didn't fit into any of the legal categories. While I work for a law firm, I am in an administrative (not legal) role. I then read about CAP and thought this would be a great way to enhance my career and see if I really knew my stuff (I've been in varying administrative roles at my law firm for over 30 years). Not having studied or taken a formal class for a long time has made me a little hesitant but I am up to the challenge. My goal is to pass the exam is for personal satisfaction only.

Congratulations on taking your CAP. I don't work at a law firm but instead for an in-house legal department as an EA. It would be interesting to hear about your experience.
