CAP Exam
I have worked as an Administrative Professional in higher education since 2002. My boss is always encouraging me to find ways to better myself, and in turn helping him become a better leader for the rest of the members of his team. A couple of years ago I got my master’s degree in leadership development, with the focus on quiet leadership. I feel that so many individuals have these characteristics – we may be the “wind beneath the wings”, but it is a necessary role to play. I also enjoy showing the other Administrative Professionals at my company what is out there for them, regarding professional development. What better way to lead by example than to pass the CAP exam? Being a worry-wort, I am nervous, but I know I'm in good hands with Marie's study group. Good luck to everyone who is also taking this journey!

What an interesting degree focus. What all does "quiet leadership" entail?

I'm so excited to share the journey to CAP certification with you!
