IAAP College Partners

IAAP is proud to have the support of academic institutions throughout North America. IAAP has partnered with academic institutions to support individuals on their certification journey from start to finish.

IAAP understands how important the student experience is; we also know how crucial job placement statistics are. Certification is a great way for your graduates to excel in the job market and land their dream job. The problem is most certifications, including the Certified Administrative Professional, require a minimum number of years' work experience before becoming eligible to take the exam. That's where the CAP(ip) program comes in.  The below colleges currently offer the CAP(ip) credential. For more information on their programs please follow the links below.

CAP Credit for Prior Learning

Many colleges and universities offer credit for prior learning for assessment-based certifications like the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) credential and assessment-based certificates of completion like the Organizational Management (OM) specialty certificate offered through IAAP.

Individual colleges and universities assess learning and award credit differently. There is no set standard for credit from prior learning. To determine what credit is available to you look for the "transfer of credit" or "credit for prior learning" policies on the web site or course catalog of the college or university you're interested in attending. College and universities will normally ask for verification of your credential before they grant credit. To receive a verification letter for your IAAP credential you must purchase a  Verification of Certification. While we can confirm that you passed the CAP or CPS exam we cannot release your actual numerical score to third parties. If your credential has been revoked the verification letter will state the reason for revocation and date revoked.

The below colleges have partnered with IAAP to provide students with credit for their CAP credential. For more information on their CAP credit policies please follow the links below.
