My reason for sitting for the CAP exam is simply this -  I should have done this years ago.  Working as an Admin Assist, Ops Mgr, and an EA for many years I desire recognition of my skill, abilities, achievements, including the drive for higher level management. Certification is the first step in a journey to fulfillment. Every journey begins with the first step. My first step began with joining a study group, Everyone learns differently, and I find that having deadlines, deliverables, and accountability, helps me accomplish my objectives.  I anticipate the study group will aid me in preparing for the exam as well as connecting me with other Admin Professionals around the world.
