Cap Exam.....I'm going to do this!

Justing thinking about taking the CAP exam makes me anxious. In March, I decided that enough is enough. I will be taking the CAP exam in September. I planned on taking the exam last September (2015), purchased material, and joined a study group. I was not ready mentally. I have a lot of anxiety it comes to test taking. I spoke with my supervisor about the CAP exam and she supports me 100%. She spoke with the dean over our department and advocated for me. My employer has agreed to pay for me to take the CAP exam. I was so excited but nervous. I signed up and there is no turning back now.

I have made the decision and I will do this! I am still anxious, but I am staying focus and learning to relax more. This go around I have signed up for Marie's study group. She is warm and comforting (which has helped so much). I know it will take hard work. I am looking forward to passing the CAP exam.

Alrighty then, I'll be keeping a special eye on you to make sure you don't freak yourself out! ;)

You can definitely do this! Preparing yourself mentally is just as important as every other element in test preparation and that's why I make sure to spend time on it.

We are going to do this together!

Agree with Marie. You need to mentally ready; you will know when it feels right. I have all the confidence in you that you will pass the CAP exam. Best of luck in your studies.

Had the same experience BUT when I made the commitment to myself to achieve this, something clicked! I came away from the exam wondering what I had been so scared of.

Prepare yourself the best you can and go in knowing that you have the skills and expertise it takes to be a Certified Administrative Professional! Be confident in your knowledge and yourself!!

BTW - all that worry and anxiety I put myself through ... I passed on my first write & now proudly include CAP as a designation :-)
