I decided this spring to take the CAP exam in Spring 2017. To that end, I purchased the 2016 study guide. Now that the 2017 version is coming out, I'm wondering if I need to purchase that one as well. Does anyone have insight as to how much of a difference it might make?

We made improvements to the 2017 edition based on candidate feedback and added more resources available online but the subject-matter covered did not change a great deal.

You will be fine using the 2016 edition just make sure that is not your only source. No one source will completely prepare a candidate for success.
