New Member - CAP Certification

Hi! My membership just became active this morning! I'm excited to start the journey of the CAP Certification!

I have about eleven years of administrative experience, four in a local municipality and seven in a property management company.

Over the last month I have been reviewing some of the books but waited to purchase the IAAP Cap Study Guide until I signed up. I'm so torn on whether I should wait for the September exam or sign up for the March exam. This time of year I am not busy and can spend quite a bit of time on studying in the next month. My summers are so busy I'm afraid I won't be able to concentrate on studying. Either way I signed up for Marie's cram exam so I can start putting the "pedal to the metal" so to speak.

I would love to hear experiences from other members.

E. Beckley Posts: 41	Welcome! I was in an in-person study group for 6 months, and it was very easy to read a chapter a week. You are experienced and could do it in March. Go with your gut feeling. And #1 say I CAN DO IT. Libby
