Come on CAP 2017!
My background for the past twenty years has been in desktop support but I had the opportunity to switch careers about a year and a half ago. I am amazed at the number of skills necessary to really pull this job off with a sense of satisfaction. I obligated myself to the CAP exam thinking it wouldn't be that difficult. WOW, was I wrong! I am in my 3rd week of the study group and am doing my best to not feel overwhelmed. The wide range of things I'm learning in this course has me thinking about new and different goals for my future. I think this certification will give me a "second wind" to possibly realize my dreams of going free-lance and being in charge of my own destiny!

The CAP is certainly a great way to learn just what a great administrative professional can do. Thrilled you decided to join our ranks!

Hi, Karen, you and I were both in the same study group! I wish you all the luck in the world come exam day! We are as prepared as we can possibly be at this point, I believe, and speaking for myself, although I'll continue to review, refresh, and even continue to learn a few new things between now and the day I sit, I think I am as prepared as I can be thanks to the group. I love that you're mentioned that you feel the group/exam has helped you to feel more confident about potentially becoming a freelancer, which has been a dream of mine for more years than I care to mention, and I totally agree that the course and the exam is a huge step toward my feeling actually qualified and self-confident enough to take the plunge, at some point in the not-too-distant future! So onward and upward! Good luck to you!
