Marie, before I sit for my exam on the 28th, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you, sincerely, for all your countless hours of time and attention during the study group! I know I had several questions along the way and I very much appreciate your time and especially your patience in responding to graciously to each of them! I admit that, unfortunately, up until a few days ago I really didn't understand the basic make-up of the actual exam and erroneously thought it was "based" on the study guide. I understand that it is more of a confirmation of what I, as the test taker, already know about the administrative profession over all rather than what was covered specifically in the study guide, as well as those areas with which I am not so familiar or have not performed over my extensive administrative career, which actually makes me feel better about sitting for the exam. I have done some intense reading and researching since then and now understand the process. I truly think I am as prepared as I can be to take the exam, but I also know there are a few areas that I do need to concentrate more specifically on, which I intend to do between now and the 28th. But since I anticipate being extremely focused for the next week or so on my trouble spots, I wanted to be sure to take a moment to thank you for all you hard work and patience! I truly believe that had I not participated in the study group, I would probably "think" I was ready to take the exam, but that belief would have been misguided since it would have been based on my belief that the exam was based on the study guide itself. Now that you've clarified that that is not the case, I can better prepare myself mentally and emotionally to not "freak out" when I sit in front of the computer on the 28th! So for all these things, I THANK YOU!
C.
