Hi! I've been in the administrative field for over 20 years. I am currently an Administrative Officer with the DC Government. I was looking for training to enhance my job skills and to put me in a better position. After searching for courses at one of the local colleges, I came across information for the CAP exam. I knew that this was exactly what I have been looking for. I just joined Marie Herman's study group and I thankful for the study tips and the method of encouragement that she shared. Everyone in the group is very nice and supportive and I am very grateful to have this support. It's been many years since I was in school and things are pretty hectic at work. I have wondered many times if this was the right time in my life to even embark on this journey, but there will never be a "perfect time" to invest in myself, so I might as well take the plunge! I can do this!

Hi, Valerie!  Congrats in your choice of taking the CAP exam.  I participated in Marie Herman's study group as well.  She is an EXCELLENT instructor!  She is very thorough, supportive and knowledgeable.  I rec'd my CAP in May 2018.  I'm glad you're making the "investment in yourself".  Take care and you will do great!
