Spring 2021 CAP Certification - Here I Come! Who's with me?
Hi All! I am currently in Marie Herman's Spring 2021 CAP study group and I am super excited to get this certification going! Honestly, I had never really known much about any of the administrative professional certifications until the pandemic hit and I found myself not working in a busy office but a very quiet (somewhat) home. It's amazing what a little slow down and re-org will do. As I worked with my teams on moving forward in our virtual world, I found and explored the certifications. I took and passed the PACE test this past summer and decided that I want the CAP, now! I love learning new things besides supporting my team of VP's, and I am also heavily involved with our IT team on all things virtual in our office (I ought to be a Teams expert by now). I also realize in our culture, the older you get, the harder it can be to find new employment. If something were to ever happen with my current position, I want to have every advantage I can have in order to land on my feet somewhere else. I'm excited to get this study group rolling and go get that CAP! Who's with me?

I love seeing this kind of proactivity. Sometimes we really do just need some space and quiet time to identify the right path forward for ourselves. I am so pleased to be able to share your certification journey. Let's get this done! Very Happy

I'm with you! I'm turning 50 in July and would like this Certification in my pocket before that fateful day! Isn't 50 the new 30?
Happy Studying and Good luck!
Julie
