Spring 2022 I will be sitting for the CAP certification exam. I’d be lying if I said that this didn’t intimidate it, but I’m doing it anyway. For the last 5.5 years, I’ve been in an administrative role with not much training outside of what I do in my day to day duties. I’m using this certification to increase my knowledge, confidence and skills to be a better partner to my team and aid in my personal development. I’ve purchased the study guide as well as a few books to aid in my preparation along with Marie’s study group. I’m eager to see the change in myself and my career with the support of this community.

You’re well on your way to doing great things. Not sure if you plan to attend the boot camp, but it’s a great program as well. I did the boot camp twice and Marie’s program twice. I’ve been an administrative professional for over 40 years and to be honest it was a bit intimidating at first and I was scared, but when you pass the exam in the Spring not only will it give you self confidence in your occupation, but in your daily life as well.
