Marie, My choice to become CAP certified happened after asking my boss if i could change my title. In a meeting with her and the HR manager, I found out that in order for me to hold the title of Administrative Professional I had to be certified. My CAP journey with IAAP actually began last Spring but failed my exam in the fall. I was disappointed i didn't pass the exam but I am back to try again. This certification is important to me to gain knowledge and skills to assist me in becoming a better administrative assistant in my current job. Fran

Well that's interesting in the way your company has structured the admin job family. On the plus side, at least the requirements are clear cut. You can definitely do this. I know it is frustrating when we don't get the results we want the first time, but you are going to be even better prepared for the Spring exam. Let's get you certified!
