I am doing the Fall exam and am already in Marie's study group but thought it may be beneficial to use a website too. Has anyone had any experience with them and if so, would you say it is worth it?

What do you mean by website? I used web-based resources to supplement my study, such as quizlets & youtube tutorials. Not sure I would trust a website claiming to know enough about the CAP exam to offer study help (I know legitimate sites exist for more widely taken exams like PMP or LSAT). That said, I'd love hear about any people have found helpful - always looking for resources to recommend! When our group went through Marie's training, our test was postponed, and we created a private Facebook group to share resources with one another we found helpful for understanding different concepts.

I never used a website.  The single most helpful thing I did was follow Marie's suggestion of using index cards - term/word on one side and definition on the flip side.  I added to the card collection every week and studied those (hubby helped) every single week.  HUGE help. My husband joked he could have passed the test just from helping me review the index cards....   That may not work for everyone but it was very helpful for me.

Agree with both comments above. I really don’t think you will benefit much from a supplemental website.

I agree with all of the ladies above. I took Marie's course, studied every week, re-read the Bodies of Knowledge, watched Marie's webinars over and over and I passed on the first try. I think that you'll do just fine with taking Marie's course. FYI, I purchased additional study materials and never used them, so I wasted money and I'd hate for you to do the same. Good luck!!!!

Thanks everyone. Marie has provided us with flash/index cards (from a previous student) which are really helpful! Feeling more confident as I review the materials and rewatch the videos!

I definitely do not recommend the mometrix materials. Past students have told me it was too generic to be helpful. I have no opinion on study.com.

Thank you!! I was a little concerned that it may be as their tests seemed completely off track. Am on your course which has been excellent! So will stick with that. Exam booked for 25 October!
