My Journey
I am sitting for the 2023 exam as a challenge to myself. After 20 years at the same organization, two years ago I moved from California to Wisconsin and started a "new" career. My first week coincided with the world shutdown due to Covid. Working remotely in a new role was challenging but I survived. I took a bit of a demotion by transferring from Communications to Executive Assistant but am enjoying the variety and challenges of my new role. It's been many long years since I was a student, so I'm a bit rusty. I want to prove to myself that I can achieve this goal. I want to broaden my skill set and knowledge base to give the best support to my team of executives. And finally, I want to show my boys that I am still choosing growth - professionally, personally, and intellectually. I feel excited, super nervous, and hopeful about this journey. Good luck to everyone on the same journey!

I love that you included your boys into your 'why' - and showing them that dreams and goals are attainable, no matter when you decide to go for it! My boys were a big part of my 'why', too! I have no doubt you'll do well. Best of luck to you!
