Summer/Fall CAP Certification 0 A. Stamer Hello! I'm starting out on my journey to become CAP certified. I'm located in Pittsburgh, PA. I'm planning on taking the test in the fall. I joined Marie Herman's study group. We are just getting into the material. I plan to study with the group as we go and do the homework. My work is supportive so I can read in my down time. I'm hoping to have more insights into processes for my job and to get the designation.

In My Study Era! =) 0 A. Mendoza Hello everyone! I'm currently preparing to sit for the CAP exam this fall. I've been debating whether to pursue this certification for years, and I finally decided it was time to take the plunge. I've spent most of my career as an administrative professional, and I realized I was starting to feel a little complacent. That realization motivated me to challenge myself, continue learning, and expand my knowledge. I see this certification as an opportunity to step outside my comfort zone, explore areas I haven't had much exposure to, and continue growing as an administrative professional. When I first started preparing, I felt pretty overwhelmed and wasn't sure where to begin. Thankfully, a couple of colleagues pointed me to Marie Herman's study group, and I'm so grateful they did. It's given me the direction and confidence I needed, and I'm excited to continue this journey and reach the finish line. Earning this certification will be something I can truly be proud of!

Fall 2026 Exam prep 7 S. Raber The practice exam can be useful as a tool to identify areas where you might want to focus, but too many students use it as a weapon to undermine their confidence when they don't do as well as they were expecting. As for the study guide, I would just add a note that the writers of the study guide did not have access to the exam questions. They are writing the guide based on the body of knowledge. That's why it can sometimes feel like there is a disconnect.

Put in the time studying only to feel like I knew nothing when I took the e 6 M. Boyd Thank you for all the encouragement and kind perspectives. It is reassuring to know I wasn’t alone in my feeling of defeat. I just received my results and am happy to report I passed! I did much better than I thought although I see an area I could improve upon so I plan to look into more training for that.
