Hi Everyone! I am new to IAAP and would like to join a local chapter in my area. I work in The Woodlands, Texas which is close to Houston, TX. I have tried reaching out via email to a couple of folks but I have not received a response. Will anyone be able to inform me as to how I can find out about my local chapter? I would also like to volunteer as a committee chair as well but would like additional information. Thanks in advance! Karen Angle

Hi Karen! IAAP is organized with Branches and Local Area Networks (LAN). You should have a LAN near you. Check the HQ web page! http://www.iaap-hq.org/?page=branch_map

Oh click Texas/Louisiana Branch and you'll pull up the LANs!

Hi Karen, as Tessa said you should look on the Branch page and find a LAN in your area. The LAN Director's names are listed as well so you can reach out directly to them, but if you will subscribe to/join the TX/ LA Branch, you will automatically be added to the email list and will start receiving event info. Feel free to message me if you need help.

Even though we have LANs, I haven't really see many C&Cs for the Houston area in a while. I met quite a few of other ladies at Summit from Houston that I had no idea were part of IAAP and I'm sure there are a lot more. I wouldn't mind getting a C&C together for Houston and the surrounding area if there is interest in it.
