IAAP My Certification Story
Hi, My Name is Ruth, and I am a Seasoned EA. I've been in the office for about 35 years. I've worked for the Central Government (British - Whitehall); and lots of Corporate giants on both sides of the pond. I do not have a degree, and my experience and knowledge have always served me well in the UK. Not so so much here in the USA, I'm finding that people understand letters rather than numbers of years when it comes to worth or value. My Administrative Director encouraged me to join IAAP as an organization to network, train and get certified. I took her advice, and am pushing hard to make the 2018-04 CAP, and for all the other letters that IAAP train for that comes after that. I also plan to take the Business Administration Degree.

Ruth, Congratulations on your decision to certify! It's also good to hear that your own Administrative Director is familiar with IAAP so much that they gave you their full support to seek us out and certify! Best wishes as you prepare to sit for the spring 2018 CAP exam!
