I am an Executive Assistant to CEO in a semiconductor company. I’ve been in my current position for the past 13 years and as much as I love my job, I think it’s time for a change. At first, I thought maybe I should go into accounting (after all I have a BS in Business Administration, emphasis on Accounting) but I don’t think I would be happy in that field. So, I started looking for something else that will give a boost to my career. Since I really like my job I concentrated my search on administrative profession. It didn’t take me long to find IAAP and CAP …. and I knew right away that I need those three letters after my name. That same day I registered for this fall exam, ordered a study guide, smart book and joined Marie’s study group. After the first webinar with her group, I know I am in the right place. I know it will take a lot of sweat until I earn CAP designation after my name, however I am excited to embark on this journey with Marie and my study group teammates. Let’s do this!
