Spring CAP exam - my why
I'm an Executive Assistant to the CFO and COO. I first want to honor the Lord with my profession and I yield to Him all my resources to do with whatever He chooses. Secondly, I recognize that serving in an Executive office comes with some visibility and I want to encourage all Admins coming up in their careers that this career has professional merit - it's not just a "job". Take it and make it something great! My husband is my encourager and my example after recently graduating from nursing school at 48 yrs old. Watching him pour all his efforts into working full time, taking a full course load and still making time for the family makes me realize I can do this - it's a hard few months, but it's only a few months! Of course, he got a pretty nifty reward when he graduated - our 1st family vacation in 7 years. I'll be making my wish list now...just right after I review these flash cards....

You are going to be amazing. Yes, God will truly help you through it. I have some flash cards in PowerPoint form if you would like them. Email me. brendavm67@gmail.com. I'm happy to share. I passed my CAP and you can do it too. I am 51 and I did my two years ago! I'm crazy! I let my first one (CPS) expire. So I did it again. I won't let that happen again. It's a great way to renew that skill set. I highly recommend the interactive book that's available through IAAP in the bookstore. You can take the quizzes over and over again.
