Studying for CAP exam in Spring 2019
Hello,
I am new to IAAP and CAP. I came to know about the certification from a colleague who encouraged me to join IAAP and told me about the study group she was planning to join for CAP certification. I’ve been an administrative professional for 10+ years and believe it would be nice to see letters behind my name. This certification would show that I have taken further steps to acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to perform my job successfully, demonstrating a high level of commitment to my profession. It will be a recommendation in its own right, allowing me to pursue other opportunities with greater confidence than I currently possess. I love learning and am happy for this opportunity to learn, test, and receive a certification to show for it in a relatively short period of time.
So far, I have joined the study group recommended by my colleague and am already engaged in materials as well as the study guide. The breadth of information is impressive and interesting. This is no small undertaking so I am glad for the guidance of the study group leader.
Advice and tips on studying and sitting for the test are welcomed.
Regards,
Linda Holmes
Best wishes for a successful 2019!
Happy New Year, everybody!
