Congratulations! I sat for my CAP in May 2009. I had just been assigned a new leader who had a bit of a reputation, so the stress of supporting someone new and studying for my CAP test was, at times, overwhelming. I chose to put my life on hold for 4 months, I did my job as best I could and wowed my new boss, I did as little as possible at home to keep our home running and studied and studied and studied.

What a joyous feeling when my letter came telling me I had passed! I commend you for sticking with it and ultimately passing your test. Way to go!!!

To those who are beginning to study, never give up, surround yourself with people who will support and encourage you. You can do it!!

Congratulations! Indeed it was a long journey, but you were determined and success was yours for the taking. This is a great reminder for everyone studying for the CAP exam. Don’t give up, the material may seem overwhelming...you must believe in yourself and trust that you can win.

Although the exam process I stared in 1981 is different than the one today, the goal is the same. Thank you for sharing with everyone that achieving the goal is worth the work required to do so. I have spent a lot of years explaining that an exam everyone passes on the first sitting may not be as challenging as it could be. I know we all want to pass on the first attempt but even those of who didn't do that learned something and most of us became more determine to pass. Keep up the good work and start your recertification journal right away.
