My Why for sitting for the CAP exam
I have been in the administrative field for many years at various levels. My main reason to sit for the CAP test is purely selfish. I want the satisfaction of having passed and being a Certified Administrative Professional. I've heard of the CAP, however most of the industries I worked in before did not provide an avenue or interest in this process. The company I joined recently is focused on personal growth and improvement. As soon as I was reminded of the CAP, I joined the Fall 2019 Test Study Group to focus and study with the intent of passing. I am look forward to the process.

Sometimes it is worth pursuing certification for yourself and your own career. However, it is so much nicer when you work for a company that recognizes its value and supports the employees in their pursuits.

Though you say your reasons are selfish, your entire company will reap the benefits of your certification. Best of luck with your studies and exam.
